ABC youth
We want young people to know how precious they are to God and live in the freedom of that knowledge
We believe that all young people are loved by and precious to Jesus. We believe that they can know this love for themselves, and we are passionate about showing them how they can know this for themselves
What's on offer
We run a range of activities for 11-18 year old's, including groups on Sunday, midweek and one to one work.
Sundays
Breakfast Club is aimed at young people in school years 7 to 9. It runs alongside the Sunday morning service and involves, eating together as part of the activity. We are working through a series of sessions, exploring Where can God be found in the strange times we are living in? looking at how the Bible speaks into this too. For more information email Rob, by clicking here.

What's Next is an evening youth group, running from 7:00, till 8:30pm. We are developing a varied program - a mixture of exciting activities, including meeting inside in our community centre (The Hub), meeting outside for walks and games, and meeting online via zoom with a range of exciting guest speakers. This group is aimed at all ages (from 11 to 18 - schools years 7 to 13). For more information email Rob, by clicking here.

We currently run two groups aimed at boys in school years 9 to 13. In these groups we look at topics that the lads choose themselves. We currently meet every two weeks. For more information email Rob by clicking here.

Transformers Extra Time, started as a drop in youth group run on a Friday evening. This is a safe space, where young people can meet with their friends, play games and find out what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
For more information click here, to email Rob.
Other activities
We have previously (and intend to again!), run Weekends Away in Wales where we engage in a range of activities, including rock climbing, kayaking and archery. During these weekends the young people have a special opportunity to grow together as a community and grow closer to Jesus in faith.
We have also run trips to Soul Survivor (a national Christian youth camp), and had days away, and social nights, including bowling and mini golf. When it is appropriate to do so we will return to running these activities for young people, as we know the significance and importance these play in the lives of the young people from a faith point of view and as a community building activity.
Meet the team
Rob Peirson has been youth pastor at Altrincham Baptist Church since 2016. He is a proud Yorkshireman, loves anything with an engine attached to it and is passionate about young people's lives being transformed through having a personal relationship with Jesus, because he has seen the difference it has made in his own life.
Volunteers at ABC
Of course Rob couldn't do his job of supporting the young people as they walk with Jesus without an awesome team of volunteers from ABC. We have an incredible team of people who are passionate about young people, and about supporting the youth ministry. They give up their time, exert their energy, communicate and demonstrate their faith to help make sure that the young people have the best opportunity to explore life and a relationship with Jesus. Pictures to follow...
